We're not welcome.

Can someone PLEASE explain why Chicago is so fucking cold and snowy? My life is currently a frozen hell. Every day I stand out side freezing my ass off. My toes are constantly about to rip off and it's slightly ruining my social life because my feet get so cold that I want to cry so I just go home. Converse = no bueno for the terrain. I love my chucks, always have always will, but they were a totally irrational decision for this season. Here's the situation: I'm wearing two pairs of tights, a pair of thin socks, and a pair of warm socks. I then proceed to cram my feet into my lowtops and I go about the day. It sucks because the rubber freezes and the canvas does not protect my feet from getting soaked. On friday I was basically slush-puddle diving and then walking through mountains of snow, it was terrible! And what's up with the winter storms in December? Last year we had a little snow in December and then hell from January to April, maybe we'll actually get spring this year?

Anyways, I just realized how much I missed having a blog, so I'm glad I finally decided to utilize my blogspot account, I keep making posts and deleting them for no apparent reason. I hate my blog name though, so I think I'm going to change it.

Christmas is in 4 days and I'm not THAT excited. Christmas is always weird for me, I get really excited but then something happens in my family and it makes me a little sad. At least I can count on going to my best friend's house that night. Anyways in preparation for my Christmas money I'm going to make my self a little Christmas list, I could ask for these things but I feel awkward asking for things so I'm just going to anticipate lots of $$$ to make my dreams come true.
Made by Elves Leather Lemon Skimmers- I was going to buy these shoes before school started, but I ended up buying these really ugly fringe cowboy boots that were too big. Bad call. I'm still debating whether or not I like these shoes, but I liked how they looked when I tried them on, so maybe I'll just wait until one day they magically go on sale?

Patent Leather Dr. Marten 1460 8 eye boot - I've wanted these for SO long, I made a whole post before about how much I will always love combat boots. I just got rid of the pair I'd had for 5 years and I want to start off with the PERFECT pair. I love these ones, or I'd go for the patent purple ones, or standard matte black.


The Vice Photo Book - I don't really have an explanation, I just want it. This or the Vice Dos and Don'ts book.


Paper Towns or Searching for Alaska by John Green - I've recently become obsessed with the Vlogbrothers, and may even secretly consider myself a nerdfighter, but all the reviews I've read for John Greens books have been good. Also, I just find John Green incredibley wity and maybe even a little dreamy?

Animal Collective Tickets - I procrastinated for so long that they are now sold out! I've missed Animal Collective 4 times that I can remember, I don't want to miss them again!

I also want:
-Mac Fluid Line in black and any other cream/liquid eye (I prefer water proof liners with felt tip brushes)
- A new ipod, more then 3gz but it's not necessary since I still have my nano.
-Knitting supplies
-White tights/leggings to dye
-dangle earrings or hoop earrings (I can't wear studs because the piercing on my right ear is too low)
-film for my propack
- a new winter hat and large scarf, and mittens!
-cigarettes

I can't really think of anything else but I know there is more
