Apathy's a drag

I go through these really odd music obsessions. I listen to three or four main bands for about a month and then drop them and for a couple of months I'm just bored shitless with music until I find another band to be obsessed with. Last winter I only listened to Patti Smith, Richard Hell and the Voidoids, The Supremes and Otis Redding.Then I moved on to Bob Dylan, Elliott Smith and Islands. Then it was Aesop Rock, Buddy Holly and A Tribe Called Quest.
Anyways, I have music ADD. I can't contain myself! Right now I'm rocking with The Buzzcocks, X-Ray Spex and new Grizzly Bear. I don't know what the point of all this was, but I just really love this buzzcocks song and this video is cute.

SB09 is going great! Yesterday I got to meet Johnny Cupcakes!!!!!!
It was a pretty awesomly awkward moment. It was only awkward because I get really nervous when I meet people that I generally think are awesome. I've been following this guy's work for 5 years, so I was pretty stoked. Back in the day I had even made a bootleg of the classic cupcake a crossbones logo.


Also last night I passed out on the bus again, I woke up rather..uh, disoriented to say the least and ended up at 79th and Cicero, how? I don't know. I then convinced my self I could walk the 39 blocks north and about 20ish blocks east to my house. I ended up calling my dad while some guy yelled directions for me from his driveway. I was two suburbs over and I convinced my dad it was because I don't know the southside well, but in reality I'm a pro at handling the streets. I hadn't been that lost since the first time I took the bus.
